About Tom Herrin, CFP®

Prior to joining the financial services industry, Tom worked with a small local business within the Federal Way community and he served as a human resources administrator with another company. As a Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Federal Way, he is actively engaged in community service within South King County.

As a committed believer in professional education, Tom has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the CFP Board of Standards Inc. in Washington D.C. Additionally, Tom has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter™ and the Chartered Financial Consultant™ professional designations from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.

Professionally, Tom helps disciplined people who know enough about their finances to know they do not want to do it themselves. Typically, these people are serious about accumulating assets for retirement; worried about running out of assets while retired or concerned that their assets might not effectively transfer to their favorite charities or loved ones upon passing away.
